New Delhi: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor is planning to launch a new flagship smartphone lineup in China, the Honor 30 Series. According to previous reports, the company plans to launch the smartphone lineup by the end of March 2020. Honor has not given any information about this series yet. But a smartphone Honor 30S of this series has been leaked online. Which gives information about the major features of this phone.
Honor 30S Leaked Features
According to a report by GSMArena, Honor is planning to add 5G connectivity to the upcoming Honor 30S.
The company is also using the new SoC, the Huawei Kirin 820 SoC. Reportedly, the Honor 30S SoC will be the first 5G-capable phone in the mid-range segment. The report notes that the 3C certification of the smartphone has shared new information about the battery of the smartphone. We find out that Honor 30S will be offered with 40W fast charging technology support.
Leaked renders of this phone give us information about a quad-camera setup on the back side of the phone. Which is arranged in a rectangular unit. The design of the camera unit is similar to most rear camera setups that we have seen in 2020. The Honor 30S renders look the same as we saw in the Honor V30 series.
The render also confirms that we will likely have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the right. This side-mounted scanner is somewhat similar to what we saw in the Honor 20S. Apart from this, Honor 30S is also likely to be slightly more expensive than 20S with better hardware.
