New Delhi: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 has been postponed till the end of May, with Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokharia asking the National Testing Agency (NTA) to extend the date of application correction window for students. Now, candidates can change the examination city and examination centre to appear for NEET 2020. Given that many students have been asked to go from their colleges and coaching institutions to their homes in the midst of the coronavirus epidemic, many students will be in a different location at the time of filling the form. Thus, students can now change their place to sit for the exam.

By April 14, applicants can make changes by visiting the official website.

The NEET Admit Card 2020 will be based on the city chosen by the students.

NEET 2020: What the notification says

According to the notification, the NEET Admit Card 2020 will be available on the official website from April 15. Although the exam has been moved to the end of May, there is no confirmation of the final dates and an announcement is awaited until 15 April. The examination date and other details will be finalized, given the prevailing conditions due to the coronavirus epidemic.

NTA has written in its notice that ‘NTA has decided to extend the date of application correction of NEET UG 2020. Now candidates are also being given the chance to change the option of exam city in their application form. It is also written in the notice that ‘NTA will try its best to allot the candidates to the examination form in the application form in the city they have chosen. But another city may also be allotted for administrative reasons. The NTA’s decision in this regard will be considered final.
