French automaker Renault Globally is working on expanding its electric vehicle lineup. According to recently revealed information, the company is working on one of its electric crossovers, which can be presented at the Paris Motor Show 2020 to be held in October. This electric car of the company will be based on the company’s CMF-EV platform. Whose styling will get a glimpse of the Morphoz concept. The Morphoz concept was to be introduced at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, although it was canceled due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
The new Renault electric crossover is likely to be approximately 4.2 meters in length, similar to the Captur, as we reported that the Renault crossover will be inspired by the Morphoz concept. In such a situation, it is expected that its interior will also be given the same.
The interior will have a 10.2-inch screen and a large L-shaped screen with instrument panel and futuristic steering wheel.
This fully electric crossover from Renault will be offered with multiple capacity battery packs and power output. Talking about the driving range, it will be given a driving range between 550km to 600km. Renault’s car Electric Zoe currently uses a battery pack of 55kWh which provides a driving range of up to 400km. Renault is also working on an electric SUV in addition to its electric crossover that will be introduced in 2022. Like the new Renault electric crossover, it will also be built on the CMF-EV platform.
Renault has recently launched its popular SUV Duster in India by BS6 compliant. Prices of the new Renault Duster BS6 have been set at Rs. 9.99 lakh ex-showroom starting from Rs. 8.49 lakhs. Which is more than Rs 50,000 as compared to BS4 model. The BS6 Petrol Duster has been launched in three variants RXE, RXS and RXZ, using a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which is capable of generating 105hp of power and 142Nm of torque.
