Supreme Court Allows Registration Of Sold BS4 Vehicles Even After March 31, Deadline

There is a 21-day lockdown going on in the country and at the same time, the sale of BS4 vehicles was going to stop from April 1, which had become a big concern of the auto companies too.

Now, the Supreme Court has extended the sale of BS4 vehicles for 10 days, meaning that it can be sold in the country for 10 days after the end of lockdown.

It is believed that the deadline may be from 15 April to 24 April.

Along with this, the Supreme Court has also laid down that only 10 percent of the total BS4 stock can be sold. With this, BS4 vehicles will not be sold in Delhi-NCR region.

Let us tell you that vehicle companies in the country have BS4 stock worth thousands of crores, in such a situation that the companies could have suffered a huge loss, so Fada had petitioned the Supreme Court to increase its registration.

Vehicle sales in India were already running low, so the sales have come down due to Corona. Vehicles worth about 6400 crores are kept with dealers of the country.

In this decision, only 10 percent of the vehicles are allowed to be sold, due to which most vehicles can be exported to neighboring countries.

It is to be seen in the coming days that the auto companies can clear their stand on this. With more than 7 lakh two-wheelers in stock, this is a major concern.
