Tata Motors, one of the largest car manufacturers in the country, has confirmed that it will launch a production version of its Tata A2X concept car in India in 2020.
This sub-compact SUV will be the second car based on the ALFA platform after Tata Ultraz. The H2X will be 3,840 mm long by 1,822 mm wide and 1,635 mm high, while it will have a wheelbase of 2,450 mm.
The Tata H2X is expected to be launched with the 1.2-liter petrol engine of the Tata Ultrose. The production-spec Tata H2X will take on the Mahindra KUV100 and Maruti Suzuki Ignis. The H2X will be priced from Rs. 4.8 to 6 lakhs (ex-showroom).
