TCL to stop Blackberry phones’ manufacturing; Shock for users

New Delhi: The BlackBerry smartphone was once considered the safest and fastest smartphone. Its messaging app was also copied by many companies but now Blackberry is closing. TCL Communication used to make BlackBerry smartphones till last year, but now TCL will not make or design BlackBerry smartphones. TCL has said in a statement that it will not provide any support to BlackBerry after 31 August 2020, although those who have a BlackBerry smartphone will get service by 31 August 2022.

TCL was licensed to manufacture BlackBerry phones in the year 2016, after which smartphones such as BlackBerry Keyon, BlackBerry Key 2 and BlackBerry Motion were introduced.

It is worth noting that BlackBerry’s last phone is BlackBerry Motion with dual SIM support, Android Nougat 7.1.1, 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Apart from this, there is DragonTrail Glass on the screen. Physical button has been given on the phone’s home. The phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM and 32GB GB storage which can be extended up to 2TB.

Talking about BlackBerry Motion camera, it has a 12-megapixel f / 2.0 aperture rear camera, along with dual-tone LED flash light, 4K video recording feature. The front camera is 8 megapixels. Fingerprint scanner is provided in the phone’s home button. Apart from this, the phone has a 4000mAh battery.
