New Delhi: The new model of Datsun Ready Go car launched especially keeping the middle class family in mind is now ready to be launched in India. The biggest update in the new Datsun Ready Go car is about to be seen in its engine. This car will now be equipped with BS-6 petrol engine.
Currently, the 0.8 liter and 1 liter petrol engine found in this car is BS-4 engine. The 0.8 liter engine of the car delivers power of 53 bhp at 72 Newton meter of torque and the same 1 liter petrol engine delivers 67 bhp of power at 91 Newton meter torque. The special thing is that the new model of this car will also get the option of AMT gearbox with 5 speed manual.
Along with this, the company has also claimed that its new model will be made more secure. Let us tell you that in the crash test this car got only one star and airbags have been given only for the driver. The new model of the car will be equipped with a dual front airbag system, it will also get use of features like ABS and EBD.
The current model of the Datsun Ready Go car starts at Rs 2.8 lakh in India. It competes primarily with the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800, which is also India’s best-selling car with this segment.
