UGC NET 2020: Application process starts today, know important dates

New Delhi: The application for UGC NET 2020 starts today, ie from 16 March. Candidates can apply online after the link is activated on the official website of UGC. All candidates can apply through the official website

Important Dates:

The last date for application is -16 April 2020.
Exam Date – 15 June to 20 June 2020
Admit Card Issue Date – 15 May 2020
Result of exam – 5 July 2020

Examination Fee:

General: 1000 rupees
OBC / EWS: Rs 500
SC / ST / PWD: Rs 250

Eligibility:

The UGC NET exam is conducted for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).It is compulsory for general class candidates to get 55 percent marks in PG and reserved class candidates with 50 percent marks in PG. General category candidates for JRF should not be more than 30 years of age till 1 January 2020. At the same time, 5 years relaxation has been given in the age limit for reserved category. While there is no computation of maximum age limit for Assistant Professor.

How to apply:

First of all, go to the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in for online application of UGC NET 2020.
– Now click on the application form. After this go to the new registration and submit the required information.
– Now note down the system generated application number. Then login to the registered account and fill the UGC NET application form.
– After filling the form, upload your photo and signature scan and now pay the examination fee.
