New Delhi: After recently launching WhatsApp Dark Mode, now the WhatsApp messaging app is preparing to introduce a new feature. This feature is going to benefit the user because this feature will help to keep the memory of your phone always empty. This feature is currently in testing and the special feature of this feature is that after its arrival, your WhatsApp messages will be automatically deleted after a certain time.
According to reports from WABetainfo, WhatsApp is testing a feature called Disappearing Messages in its latest version these days. This feature has been seen in 2.20.83 and 2.20.84 versions of WhatsApp. This feature will roll out soon and soon after this, the messages in the phone of WhatsApp users will be automatically deleted after a certain time.
Its most important thing is that this feature will be for the person who is sending the message. This means that if you send a message and decide the time it will be deleted, then after that time your message will be automatically deleted.
Currently this self-destructing messages feature is being tested for WhatsApp groups but it is believed that in the coming days it will also be available for personal chats. According to the pictures which have come out of this feature, the user will get an option in the settings, in which the time will be given to delete the message. After activating it, it will see time ranging from 5 seconds to 1 hour. User can keep as much time as he wants. After that time, his message will be deleted from the group.
However, it is being said that this feature will be limited to administrators only, which means that only the administrators of the group will be able to enable or disable the delete message feature. When enabled, the delete message feature can be toggled into contact info or group settings.
