Youth slits his throat, started running at crowded place in Delhi

A shocking incident has come to light from Shahdara area of the capital city Delhi. Here, a man, who was running on the road with a knife to his own throat near Nathu Colony Chowk, snatched a pistol from a police officer and started firing. However, in a short time, the police managed to catch the culprit with the help of the crowd.

In the Shahdara area, a man cut his own throat with a knife and then took a knife and a pistol in his hand, running on the road near Nathu Colony Chowk, which created a stir in the area. During this time, an ASI Jitendra Panwar was injured in the attempt to subdue him by the public and police officers.

According to Delhi police, the man has been identified as Krishna Sherawat. After a lot of effort, the police managed to subdue the youth and admitted him to a nearby hospital, where he is currently being treated. An official said, “On March 16, at 6:40 and 6:50 pm, two PCR calls were received at the Mansarovar Park police station that a person named Krishna Sherawat had cut his own throat with a knife and was running publicly near Nathu Colony Chowk with a knife and pistol in his hand, and he had also fired shots.”

The officer said that when the public and the police tried to control the young man at Nattu Colony Chowk, he injured a police officer in the scuffle and took his gun, firing a round. However, later the police caught him and recovered the gun from his possession. In this regard, the police have registered a case against the accused Krishna Sherawat at MS Park Police Station.

The officer said that during the investigation, it was found that Krishna Sherawat had separated from his wife and was suffering from some kind of depression. The man is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital and further investigation is underway.
