Best 7 Seater: In the list of top-10 selling cars for the month of October, two 7-seater models have also made their entry. The most sold model in October was Maruti Suzuki Ertiga with a total of 14,209 unit sold out. It is the second time when this model has made its entry the top-selling list.
Earlier in September 2023, the company managed to sell 13,528 units of this multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) registering a 5% growth month-over-month (MoM). While other best considered sports utility vehicles (SUVs) like Mahindra Scorpio and Hyundai Creta where ranked down in the list in terms of unit sales.
In this segment of best 7 seater, Maruti Ertiga has outperformed many premium models like Mahindra Scorpio, Mahindra Bolero, Kia Carens, XUV700, Toyota Fortuner, Maruti Suzuki XL6, Reno Triber, Hyundai Alcazar and Toyota Innova Crysta. The second car in the top-10 best 7 seater list was Mahindra Scorpio with a total of 13,578 unit sales in October.

If we look at the previous performance of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga then the company sold a total of 73,344 units of this car from May to October. On an average, over 12,000 units are being sold. In May 10,528 units, June — 8,422, July — 14,352, August — 12,315, September — 13,528 and in October 14,209 units were sold. The sales grown to five digits post July.
