Saif Ali Khan Attack: Why Did the Attacker Break into actor’s Home? Big Statement from Mumbai Police

Veteran film actor Saif Ali Khan was the target of a life-threatening attack on 16 January at around 2 AM. An assailant entered the actor’s home in Bandra, Mumbai, and attacked him with a knife, resulting in severe injuries that required his admission to Lilavati Hospital.

In response to this incident, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch has released an update, confirming that the accused has been identified. The authorities have also made several shocking revelations about the case.

The life-threatening attack on Saif Ali Khan has sent shockwaves through the film industry, leaving many in disbelief and distress. In a significant statement regarding the investigation, the Mumbai Police provided details about the attack.

Dixit Gedam, DCP Zone 9 of Mumbai Police, stated, “Last night, the accused used a fire escape staircase to enter Saif Ali Khan’s house. It appears to be an attempted robbery. We are working to apprehend the suspect, with ten detection teams assigned to the case. An offence has been registered at Bandra Police Station.

The Crime Branch has also interrogated the housekeeper of Saif’s residence, along with two other members of the superstar’s staff. So far, no arrests have been made in connection with this incident.

Saif has sustained serious injuries in the attack, with six knife wounds on different parts of his body, including deep cuts to his neck, arms, and back. Doctors reported that during surgery, a 2.5-inch piece of the knife was removed from his spine. Currently, the actor’s condition is improving, and he has been moved to the ICU.
