Rajesh Keshav, a well-known actor and presenter of Malayalam films and TV, suddenly fell ill. According to the information, he suffered a cardiac arrest during a live event at Crown Plaza Hotel in Kochi on Sunday night and fell on stage.
Immediately hospitalised
Immediately after the incident, within 15-20 minutes, he was taken to Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi. There the doctors immediately performed angioplasty and he was put on a ventilator. However, his condition still remains critical.
Doctors’ apprehension
Doctors said that he may have suffered mild brain damage during the cardiac arrest. Right now, he is able to do only light activities and is completely dependent on the ventilator.

Filmmaker Prathap Jayalakshmi shared an update on Rajesh Keshav’s health through a Facebook post. She wrote: “Our dear friend Rajesh is now dependent on machines. The man who once thrilled everyone with his performance on stage is today lying unconscious. We can only pray for his well-being.”
