India Skills 2024:The country’s biggest national competition “India Skills 2023-2024” was inaugurated by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) on 15 May at Yashobhoomi Convention Center, Dwarka in Delhi.

This prestigious competition will not only celebrate various skills but will also empower the youth to give them a future full of golden opportunities.

India Skills 2024: The India Skills Competition is designed to bring together training standards with global standards, promoting synergy with various industries.

The final prize will be a chance for the winning contestant to represent India at the World Skills Competition in Lyon, France in 2024.

India Skills 2024: 1,500 contestants and 65 countries

The winning contestants will compete against 1,500 contestants from over 65 countries.

India Skills 2024: This year, early trends predict that India will be successful in winning medals in Automobile, Hospitality Mechatronics and Water Technology at World Skills.

India Skills 2024: The competition is giving a big national platform to more than 900 students and more than 400 industry experts from more than 30 states and union territories of the country.

The participants are also participating in nine types of exhibition skills like drone-film making, textile weaving, leather shoe making and prosthetics-makeup.

India Skills 2024: The participants have got the opportunity to get trained in ITIs, NSTIs, Polytechnics, Institutes of Engineering, Institutes of Nursing and Institutes of Biotechnology Indian youth are becoming skilled while receiving training at par with international standard training.

Speaking on the occasion, Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, said that this event stands before us as a testament to the collective efforts and unwavering commitment to promote skill development and culture of excellence in our country. It is truly a unique platform that brings the benefits of high standards of skills to all in our increasingly competitive and fast-paced world.
