BJP Candidate List 2024: In the important meeting of the Central Election Committee, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced the names of its candidates for 56 Lok Sabha seats. With this revelation, speculations about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh entering the election fray have intensified.

BJP Candidate List 2024: According to sources, the BJP, in its strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, will leave six seats vacant in Uttar Pradesh for its alliance partners including Apna Dal, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (Subhashpa) and Nishad Party. This division includes two seats each of Apna Dal and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party and one seat each of SubhaSP and Nishad Party. According to this strategy, BJP has so far finalized its candidates for 56 seats.

It is likely that Prime Minister Modi will once again contest elections from Varanasi, while Home Minister Amit Shah will contest from Gandhinagar and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh from Lucknow. If sources are to be believed, former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan was offered the Bhopal seat, but he has expressed his intention to contest the elections from his home district Vidisha.

BJP Candidate List 2024:  Apart from this, it is possible that BJP Jammu and Kashmir President Ravi Raina may contest from Rajouri-Anantnag constituency. Also, former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani may be considered for the Lok Sabha seat, and Sarbananda Sonowal may contest from Dibrugarh.

On the other hand, Jyotiraditya Scindia may contest from Guna-Shivpuri, while other possible candidates include Subrata Pathak from Kannauj, Murali Dharan from Thiruvananthapuram Rural, Sukant Majumdar from Balurghat, Ravi Kishan from Gorakhpur, Manushakh Mandaviya from Bhavnagar, Harish Dwivedi from Basti, Prahlad Joshi from Hubli. Shobha Karandlaje from Dharwad, Karnataka, Poonam Madam from Jamnagar and Fagan Singh Kulaste from Mandla can be candidates.

Other probable candidates include Rao Inderjit Singh from Gurugram, Sunita Duggal from Sirsa, Kamlesh Paswan from Bansi, SPS Baghel from Agra and Manoj Tiwari from North East Delhi.

Blast at Rameshwaram Cafe, 5 injured

A massive explosion took place at the famous Rameshwaram Cafe in Whitefield, Bengaluru on Friday. Five people were injured in this incident.

According to media reports, there is no information about any casualty at present. According to officials, the injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital where they are undergoing treatment.

Pictures after the explosion started going viral on social media due to which a large crowd suddenly gathered at the spot.

Blast at Rameshwaram Cafe

The blast was so powerful that there was a lot of damage to the cafe premises and goods were damaged. Along with the police and fire department, local people also played an important role in controlling the situation after the blast.

Giving information about the incident, Whitefield Fire Station said, “We received a call informing us that a cylinder had burst at Rameshwaram Cafe. We reached the spot and are currently analyzing the situation.”

Although the exact cause of the explosion has not been known yet, forensic experts are trying their best.

Reacting to the incident, Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya expressed his concern on social media. He informed about the conversation he had with Nagaraj, the founder of Rameshwaram Cafe. He said the cafe owner has denied any claims of cylinder explosion. Also alleged that the blast was caused by a bag left by a customer.

“One of their employees has been injured. It seems to be a clear case of a bomb blast. Demands answers from Bengaluru CM @Siddaramaiah,” Surya said.

A substantial subscription rate of 85% was seen in the IPO on Friday, the second day of the IPO, which was launched on Thursday, 22 February. National Stock Exchange data showed that 1,67,51,920 bids were registered against 1,97,63,327 shares in the IPO. In the breakdown, retail individual investors (RIIs) subscribed 1.24 times, non-institutional investors garnered 79% share, and qualified institutional buyers garnered a 19% subscription rate.

GPT Healthcare IPO Review

The IPO of Kolkata-based GPT Healthcare is valued at ₹525 crore. This includes issuance of equity shares amounting to ₹40 crore and also an offer for sale (OFS) of 2.6 crore equity shares by private equity firm Banyantree Growth Capital.

According to a report, Banyantree currently holds 32.64% stake, which is equivalent to 2.6 crore shares. The price band for the IPO has been set at ₹177-186 per share. The funds raised from the IPO will be allocated to repay debt and for general corporate purposes.

The event started with a minute of silence to pay tribute to the late father and author of the book Till God Awakes – Pramajit Kumar. He was an Indian-born author, philosopher, and economist. He is a man with incredible valour courage, empathy, and a unique personality when he left my hand at the age of 18 and found God’s lap to rest forever. But left me with a lot of wisdom and courage to take forward his missions of life. He always wanted the youth of India to know about the unbelievable feats of bravery performed by Indian heroes during the Sino-Indian War. He would be smiling today seeing his novel getting back to the stalls and youth reading it.”

Post addressing the audience about the book and stories of his father. Dr Sood showed the footage of Paramjit Ji from 1985 where he spoke about patriotism, brotherhood within our country, and world peace. In the video he also extraordinary acts of bravery exhibited by the heroes of India in the Sino-China War in NEFA.

Paramjit Ji’s elder granddaughter, Angel Dsouza also attended the event and paid tribute to him. She said, “This book contains everything, from tear-jerking emotional moments to drama, politics, economics, romance psychology, and philosophy. The style of writing is phenomenal, the use of diction, complex thematic notions, and use of vivid descriptions will make you feel as if it’s reality. The author’s meeting ended with a book signing program where Dr Sood met the readers of the book and signed a copy for them for the readers. She also empowered and encouraged the young girls with her wise words who were swept away by her speech.
