Users attempting to use the Facebook and Instagram apps saw messages such as “Log in again,” “Session expired,” and “Could not refresh feed” on their screens. The disruption started around 8.30 pm on Tuesday night, causing frustration among social media lovers.

The site received more than 300,000 outage reports for Facebook and more than 20,000 for Instagram.
The Meta Status dashboard also indicated problems with the WhatsApp Business application programming interface, with nearly 200 outages reported on DownDetector.
Fortunately, services were fully restored by 10 pm on Tuesday night, bringing relief to users affected by the outage.
“We know people are having trouble accessing our services,” Meta spokesperson Andy Stone said in a statement. We are working on it right now.
At the same time, X owner Elon Musk also took a dig at this situation. “If you’re reading this post, it’s because our servers are down,” he said.
