Jolt for AAP in Delhi, 20 leaders join Congress

The Delhi unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has suffered a major setback. Many leaders of the Delhi unit of Aam Aadmi Party joined hands with Congress on Friday. In the program organized at the state office, Delhi Congress President Arvinder Singh Lovely welcomed everyone into the party. Lovely said that the all-round development of Delhi has come to a halt due to the fight between BJP and AAP Party. Both the parties have only cheated the people of Delhi. Has not taken interest in the development of Delhi. Under the leadership of Kuldeep Bhati, AAP leaders joined Congress.

Congress officials also claimed that more people are expected to join in the coming days. Giving information about this development in its post on Twitter, Delhi Congress said – More than 20 AAP leaders, including former Delhi Congress secretaries Kuldeep Bhati and Yogendra Bhati and former block president Mahendra Kumar, joined Congress.

Delhi unit chief of Congress Arvinder Singh Lovely had earlier called on the leaders and workers who had left the party to return to the party. Not only this, Arvinder Singh Lovely had said that he would focus his entire attention on strengthening the party organization in Delhi. It is believed that Congress has started taking steps towards pacifying the angry people. Speaking about the returning office-bearers, a senior Congress leader said more AAP leaders are expected to join the Congress in the coming days.

Congress posted on X- This is the time for change, this is the time for Congress. More than two dozen leaders and officials of North East Delhi AAP, under the leadership of Kuldeep Bhati, along with hundreds of supporters joined the Congress party in the presence of State Congress Committee President Arvinder Lovely on Friday.
On this occasion, senior Congress party leaders and former MLAs Mukesh Sharma, Bhisham Sharma, Vipin Sharma, former leader of the House in the Corporation Jitendra Kochhar and former State Youth Congress President Amit Malik were present in a meeting organized at Rajiv Bhawan. Those who joined the party are Mahendra Kumar, Jagveer Chaudhary, Yogendra Bhati, Trivendra Kumar Mintu etc.

Asked whether the move would affect the equation of the opposition India faction, the Congress leader said the Congress will take every possible step to strengthen itself in the national capital. It is the job of the party’s high command to decide on alliance. We will follow the instructions of the high command. As a political party, we must take steps to strengthen and improve ourselves. We will continue to do so in all circumstances. Meanwhile, Arvinder Singh Lovely alleged that both BJP and AAP have stopped the development work in the national capital Delhi.
